Our partners – St.Helens R.F.C. have recently agreed with the local funeral agency – Special Funerals, to make available, a pair of officially licensed funeral vehicles.
The two vehicles, a hearse and a limousine have been respectfully adorned with the St.Helens R.F.C. crest and the famous RedV, as well as imagery of both Knowsley Road and the Totally Wicked Stadium. They also include the Club’s famous fan chant ‘Oh when the Saints go marching in’.
The Club has been approached many times in the recent past by families who have lost loved ones, who were huge fans of our Club, and would have wanted to involve it in some form in their funeral arrangements.
St.Helens R.F.C. Chaplain Paul Johnson commented: “The vehicles have been respectfully decorated to offer a dignified avenue for families organising a funeral to include their loved one’s own love of the Club into their plans. This is in addition to the Steve Prescott Memorial Garden which is also located at the stadium, on which ashes can be spread.”

You can also enquire via your own chosen local funeral director – bookings for the vehicles cannot be made via the club or the Totally Wicked Stadium.
